Technical translations English - Russian
English-Russian translations now account for up to 40-50% of all orders at Rusdoc. No wonder, because many globally active companies, including those from Germany, Austria and Switzerland, i.e. German-speaking countries in Europe, usually write many operating instructions and other documents in English first and only then translate them into all the languages of the world. We as specialist translators for Russian are called in at this point.
Our translators are real specialists
For this reason, our "English" department is just as large as our "German" department. We always have enough translators, even in case of overload and rush jobs. We never miss deadlines, and if necessary we complete our assignments by working extra hours, overtime and weekends, but we never leave our clients.
In large translation projects, several translators often work simultaneously, accompanied by a proofreader who takes care of the finer points and the consistency of the terminology used. A project manager also deals with such a project, responsible for maintaining a permanent link between the client and translators in resolving potential issues, etc.
Only Russian native speakers translate for you, all of them graduate translators and only those with several years of experience. This is the case with every reputable translation company, and we are one of them. The difference, however, is that most of our technical translations are done by employees. This increases the quality of the translations and allows us to work on large orders as a team. And the decisive factor for quality is, of course, that every employee in our translation agency, from the translator to the owner, is a specialist translator and can always help out if necessary.
Specialisation in technology is our secret
What makes the difference for us is our strict specialisation. With a large number of translators, we can afford to use only certain specialists in their favourite subjects, in which they are particularly well versed. This means that in our translation agency the same specialists do not translate operating manuals for mechanical engineering, sales contracts and safety data sheets for chemical products (as an example). That is done by three different people. There is also specialisation among purely technical translators. We have different translators for mechanical engineering, electronics, chemistry and other specialist areas.

Our translators work, and this is a matter of course in our office, with all common formats from AutoCAD to XML and have a lot of experience in using CAT tools, primarily SDL Trados Studio (current versions at Rusdoc are 2019 and 2021). Other CAT tools we use are primarily Across, memoQ as well as Passolo for software localisation.
We deliver print-ready documents in Russian
The professional appearance of our translations that are printed or put online in PDF format, e.g. catalogues, advertising leaflets, product brochures, company brochures, is ensured by DTP specialists, our partners. They edit your documents in all common formats - from InDesign to QuarkXPress. Many of our translators are also very familiar with many DTP programmes and do minor work themselves.
In any case, you will always receive your translation formatted, checked and ready for printing.
